XHP 70.3 HI exceeded my expectations

I used the GT outside yesterday, did not notice the center hole at the distance with the >1mm shim, I am going to leave it like that and not attempt to adjust it.

It is not the original that came with the light, it was one that TA had made to test different focus and kindly sent to me, I guess you could open up the stock one to accept the XHP70.3, or ask TA if he has more, but my guess is that it was a one off.

Thanks, I don’t have this flashlight. I was just interested did it need thinner or thicker gasket.

That’s some great results you got.

I want to mod my acebeam L35, currently with the 70.2 there’s a ugly tint shift outside of the hotspot. Wondering if anyone has tried the swap on optics.
