XHP70 on star at digi-key

I picked up a few

What is that square PCB good for? Do you have a light that it fits in?

Good morning,

I’m building my own light which will use a pair of these LED’s. There will be low-side MOSFETS directly driven from an ATmega 283 processor. The processor will send PWM to the MOSFETS, will read a pair of pushbuttons and battery voltage. There will also be a LCD display. Initially, the code will only include those functions required for basic operation. Once the code is stable and the electronics do what they’re supposed to do comes the fun part, coding the UI. I have everything I need except for the LED’s and reflectors, which are on their way. The completed project will be in a weatherproof project box. The project will begin using solderless breadboard and DC power supply.

For me, doing this will be a fun and challenging project.

Okay, so it’s not a “standard” flashlight shape, like we’re accustomed to here! Sounds like an exciting project though. Let us know how it goes! :crown: :+1:

Digikey also has XHP70 available as a raw part, and yes, once the project is running on breadboards I’ll have a few questions for the experts out here.

Thank you for your comments.

Cheers
