Just noticed that the dedomed XM-L2 die in my Maxtoch Shooter 2x is noticeably smaller than the die of the XP-L HI.
I thought the XM-L2, XP-L HD, and XP-L HI all have the same size dies. :question:

Although i have not measured them with calipers i believe they all use the same size die. Members here have measured variations in die size with the XP G2 S2 and the XPG2 S4 with the latter having a larger die and having less throw when fitted to the same light with the same current.
In this case possibly the primary optic of the xpl hi [ the flat dome] will magnify the die, giving it a slightly larger appearance.
