xp-l reflow question.

I am trying to reflow a CREE XP-L V6 3D Bare LED onto a Noctigon XP16.

how do I know which side to put negative and positive there is a v cut into the middle strip does that tell me? Is that an arrow pointing to negative side? No dots on led base or T that I see.

on an XP-L the bond wires go on the + side.

I always forget, so when in doubt I google a picture.

the v notch is on anode side. iirc anode is +

yes it does point to negative side
