Dismantled an old camera and used a lens from it to take these pics with my iPhone.

Wow, wow, wow. Phenominal pictures. The XP-L looks like piece of paper with a thin pillow of phosphor on it. Is the emitter dedomed or in some other way altered?

Emitters are untouched. It’s just the way it took the picture. The camera lens is only half an inch away from the object when taking the pictures.

The XP-L seems like an XM-L2 in an XP-G2 die? :~

Does it perform the same with XM-L2 when dedomed?

The XP-L is an XM-L2 die in a smaller XP-sized package.

Word on the street is that it dedomes somewhat better than an XM-L2. There has been a lot of discussion on here in threads like these:

So post #165 in the second thread for one of DBCstm’s reports on how nicely the XP-L dedomes.

Now you can see why the XP-L won’t fit under the triple TIR’s due to the dome

You can use the 35mm Ledil Cute Triple which will fit the XP-L with dome intact.
