Xpl-hi 3000k only drawing 2.3A in Convoy L2. What gives?

18G wiring between MTN-20DDM and mcpcb. 30A efest 26650 battery. I wouldn’t think there’s any bottle necks, what could cause the XPL Hi to only draw 2.3A? Was hoping for 5-7A.

Edit: I believe the firmware is bistro if this helps.

Are you using a multimeter to measure current draw?

Do you have a luxmeter?
If so what does it read?

edit Are you sure you’re using Turbo?
If it starts on low, use a medium tap to go to turbo

The UNI-T voltmeter/amp meter. I’m measuring amps at the tailcap.
