I’m finding This one on ahappydeal tough to pass up.
Looks like a C8 head, with a side-switch body.
Comes with time-bomb chargers and batteries too. I’m interested in the host.
Is ahappydeal reputable?
this definitely not a c8 host. the ad says 5.5 cm head. c8’s have 44mm head. other than that i have no info on the light you referenced.
It comes with batteries, I wonder if its worth to pull the trigger and see how good those batteries are and how hard driven this light is=thus ow far it throws?
No experience with them, but two batteries with an XR-E would give 4+ hour runtime on high, and yet just one cell is more practical and will give 2 hours (plenty). Since that emitter is known for throw anyway, why not grab an $11 ebay Q5 with C8-sized head and car and wall charger?

as a host…go for it. not sure whats up w/ the reflector…half OP? but anyway, I like side switches…
plus, you get two firecrackers, that you can can videotape when you hook them up to a car battery
Yeah, I did find that SMO/OP reflector interesting. I do like ‘hybrid’ thrower/flooder’ lights, this might work out OK. Not sure what I’d do with it yet, but for sure it would not stay as shipped.
