XTAR Warboy Tint Version Boxing Error?

Hi Guys,

I recently bought an Xtar Warboy H3W (Warm white) headlamp from IMR Batteries.com on special for $20. However inside the box labelled as a warm-white version was a cool-white warboy.

I have sent them an email but they have not replied.

Any suggestions?

i ordered 2 from them and got 2 warm. i thought they were only selling warm, so i think it’s a packing error

Holiday weekend, so give ’em a bit of a chance.

If still nothing, then start a dispute, I guess.

What do you mean by labeled. There should be big characters “H3W” on the front and on the back of the box. And not just on a self adhesive sticker.
One more thing: a NW/WW led has an orange tint when you shine UV light into the reflector

Ah thanks guys, so others are getting warm, and there’s a holiday which I had no idea about being in Australia, so I’ll dutifully wait.

Also, I have a U.V light to check, but this LED colour is so cool I has white privilege!

I might buy a warm white emitter and mod it, anyone know what size pcb would be in there?
