Zebra light Dc-fix diffuser

I just got a Zebralight Sc600w even tough I ordered a floody w version. I don’t feel like shipping it back, I think it would be easier to just put that dc fix crap on the lens

My questions are :

1. Will that stuff melt or fall off the lens, if I leave the light on high till the battery runs out? 2000 lumens?

2. Will it fall off if I just stick it on the lens without trying to remove the bezel?

Or is it better to remove the bezel first, stick that on the lens, then put the bezel back on?

Can the bezel even go back on with that stuff underneath it?

Thanks

It stays on. No need to remove the bezel.

Getting Zebralight open can be a seriously complicated task so I doubt opening up the light is an option. But there are a couple ways to skin this cat .
People use #1 Dc-fix on lights that run much hotter then your Zebralight ever will. The upside of it is the ease of using a product that has adhesive . People cut out round dots of it to cover tir lenses in lights like Hanks D4v2lights etc . To cover a few emitters and leave others uncovered in dual channel lights.
When selling diffuser film it’s one I suggest that everyone get , but I think a few other materials I sell are superior at diffusion.

Adhesive diffusers are nice but a stiffer material like the zircon minus green filters will stay on your lens when done right . Lots and lots of people using them .
