I think I do. I just have this need for it to be cute! >.< Oh, maybe I will feel differently with it in my hand.
It’s definitely beautiful.
In my hand is infinitely beautiful

Maybe I’m weird- but it has this kind of cross between a utilitarian military/art deco aesthetic that I find rather nice looking. I plan on buying it when I get the dough one day- I don’t have a light that has any ultra low modes (something I didn’t know I needed until BLF). The more I see people talk about this light the more I want it. It’d be more useful than my Sky Ray King- that’s for sure.
Most likely, yes. It’s one of the most useful and versatile lights on the market. I mean, I love my SRK too and it’s great at what it does, but the SRK really only does one thing. A small, sturdy, EDC-style light with long runtimes and 4-5 orders of magnitude of output selections does quite a bit more than just one thing.
I still think the H51 (with some minor mods) is overall more useful than the SC52 though, for the simple reason that it doesn’t require using a hand to hold it.
I didn't find the pocket clip too tight on my SC52. I carry my SC52 in my right-side pants pocket. I'm a little worried about losing it sometimes, so I have a lanyard attached to it which I keep clipped to one of the belt loops on my pants.
I found the perfect lanyard. It's got a quick-release on it. I got it off of the FT Pocket 3W LED Flashlight (it was a gift from FT when they screwed up my invoice when I ordered the EA4W). I just added a small carabiner to clip to the belt loop. I just put it on today, so I'll have to see how it holds up. I don't know how sturdy it will be over time.

i have this quick release strap from my Police3W too (Banggood giveaway). The Nitecore clip looks similar to the D25A clip, and both have the advantage that a lanyard or strap can be attached in the middle of the clip. optimal point for lanyard attachment on a pocket clip:
Thank you for the welcome.
You are spot on about the tints. After reading all of the positive reviews, I wanted to try one out. I like it enough to also get a neutral version.
I also have an S6330 and plan on getting an S6330w when available for a good deal.
For those who doesn't like the stock clip in the SC52, if you can not find the proper Nitecore Ti clip, maybe this is a "cheap alternative":
Did anyone else find a little extra in your SC52 box? Mine had a Zebralight ZL584 1400 Lithium Ion AA battery in addition to the extra O rings. ![]()
that was part of the deal, sure :)
that was part of the deal, sure
Doh! So it was.
SC52 arrived yesterday, it is too small but too powerful!

Too small?! O.O
