ZL H501 flickers on High

I bought a ZL 501 second hand and I love every minute of it
I usually use the LO or MID setting but when I do turn it up to HIGH it begins to flicker. It’s random and not very noticeable but it’s there - more annoying than disturbing, really…
First I thought it was only because the battery was dying but now I put in some fresh Duraloops and it does the same.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hey svegs. I would say it needs a good cleaning. My new SE-1 was doing the same. Cleaned the threads and all contact points and it works like it should. Good luck.

@Keith Thanks that could be it, I didn’t clean it when I received it so maybe that is the reason indeed
We are just talking wiping it clean with a dry cloth / brush, right?

@Boaz LOL being a non-tech person myself that was my instinctive solution too: stick with lo and med :slight_smile:

thanks for the address, might come to that if cleaning does not help
although from Europe they might prefer I send it to China instead - will contact ZL if problem persists
