Try cservice@banggood.com. New BG rep may not be as well-versed in flashlight like Neal, however she is very willing to help out. We seek your understanding and patience while BG evaluate the situation. Meanwhile, don't get mad if you receive standard template reply from cs. They need time to be briefed as well.
Thanks freeme for your trouble.
Mine arrived today (XP-G3) and I thought it was ok until I saw the photos on the last page and then looked at mine a little closer. Looks like I have at least one emitter/reflector that is faulty.
This is disappointing. Good luck guys with the follow-up, I will post an update when my xpg3 arrives.
What makes it even more funny is the bell ends glue the head together so you cant even fix it⌠:person_facepalming:
Oh well, going to cost BG a few pennies
I tried so much to open and its impossible.
Its silly that they even glued it, could have saved glue and most people would try to fix the issue.
And the thing is, as I used the light to test it, it seems that now 3 led are ruined. See how they have a black dot in the middle? (resembles a fish eye)
SO as you use them they start to get worst. Initially it was only the bottom two when I received it, now the top left is dying.
Thatâs on lowest mode so it doesnât over expose camera.
Nothing is impossible my friend, probably just a case of getting it hot enough, however it may cause damage to something else inadvertently⌠tough one, wait and see what they say I guess. Be interesting to see how BG respond to this, I havenât received mine yet but i am now expecting the worse so i wont be disappointed I guess.
After seeing these posts now I am quite worried about the one I ordered. I even thought of canceling my order but they have already shipped it out. BG doesnât give any time for second thoughts Being hopeful now.
But i also donât want to damage the head. If i apply too much pressure it could leave marks or even make it oval. Any tips?
How to heat it up?
Well the LED on mine are all ruined anyway, so heat wont be an issue (unless it ruins the driver), if i wanted to refurbish this light ill need new LED and lens as it seems to be internally cracked.
Hope its just a few lights with this issue and there are many more buyers out there who donât have issues and are keeping quiet. I hope! Still looking forward to mine arriving with the hope its healthy.
We can say that this turned out to be fail. First they decided on glued bezel so it cannot be disassembled with ease and then failed on reflowing the ledâs. What i cannot understand how all those flashlights passed QC if there is anyâŚ
Mine havenât left China yet but given the luck i have it will probably have the same problems.
You have to try and shock it stick the head in the freezer then a heat gun will be my attack procedure if required, also youâll need 2 rubber items to get a real snug grip on it.
Is the driver retaining ring glued too? you could remove the driver if it isnt.
Edit: Just looking online, you could leave it in some boiling water for some time, shouldnât hurt anything either at 100c
I guess their new manufacturer is even worse than the last. Good thing they got a new manufacturer who doesnât use QC. :rage:
And, we told them the glue was a bad idea.
I canât wait to see whatâs wrong with the two I get.
Donât be so certain. They already have your money. Getting it back or a good replacement may not be as easy as you think.
Pay Pal dispute is the way to go if they want to start that game.
Me too

Repeating same issues that Manker/Astrolux marriage, possibly that could have been avoided by inspection of user if the bezel was not glued
If the light comes with unglued threads I would have bought it
So sorry
where is neal from BGâŚthey dont aswer me 3 weeksâŚah,these vendorsâŚ
Does everyone`s orders were sent by Seychelles post with RCâŚSC tracking?
Mine tracking does not provide any information for 12 days, while even google dont know much about Seychelles post.
My 219B unit is in Chicago and should be arriving this week. Hope itâs not defectiveâŚ
Nope, mine is sent with Netherlands Post (NL). Probably it depends on the region, they might use different carriers for different places.
Mine sent with DE post, but the tracking number is duff and doesnât work.
