Yes - this light in this thread, the thrower - actually the model name is MT07, while the flooder is the MT03, both shown/listed here: http://haikelite.top/index.php/products.html. Dunno why, but the OP is not updated to show the new model name.
6000 lumens sounds awfully optimistic. I’ll be disappointed if they can’t meet their own claim, and even more so if it can’t match a stock Convoy L6. That said, I just need it to light up the dumpsters from the bay door of the shop. A mildly modded 6x XML SRK can almost do it.
Thanks for catching that update. Hopefully it’ll do an honest 5000 lumens. That’s still damn good, and 140 kcd is damn good too if it’ll really do it. Am I actually their first buyer? Btw, I got the NW version. The spec game is risky, and so is the reliability. Hopefully I don’t end up regretting this decision.
I would be interested in XHP-35 HI for throw as well. But only if the light is fully constant-current regulated (no step-downs) and has the two switches for mode memory.
I really like the looks of this light. Looks promising!
Yep, I ordered through their website. Full price. I didn’t even try for a reviewer discount because I know I won’t find time to do a review. I tried ordering it earlier, but Haikelight didn’t respond to my pm, which is annoying since they asked for inquiries via pm didn’t they?
Some Beamshot outdoor (Reflector OP) ( OP reflector VS SMO reflector comparison will be done tomorrow night)
Here we go (Please ignore the red-color switch led on the proto; final products are with Blue color switch, Tom E will receive one final light for review next week)
MT07 CW VS Car High-beam (MT07 much brighter and much much longer distance )
A iron tower (400m-500m away)
MT07 light up the tower
Borrowed a Convoy L6 from a friend (He told it’s a 5000K NW)
Left L6 ; Right MT07
MT07 can not call it a pure thrower ; But shot distance is still nice
