Dont really know what to say about the ano.
I have the 18650 and 26650 both in grey.
I carry the 26650 more and the ano I feel is very durable.
I also like the knurling. No wear or nicks so far. Sometimes the light is in my pocket with other lights. I carry multiple lights when I go out and “play”. :laughing:
I mean, is the ano slick and shiny, matte, or kind of in-between?
I found the anodizing fine on the black and the grey one. I liked the grey one because it let you see the lines of the light better. I think I got a black one from a member here that was broken, he gave it to me in fixing another light up. I built it up with ramping firmware I think, it was pretty neat.
The grey one was bumped, newer style emitters, I even got a new optic for it but it’s in my kit here, a basic triple with a wide flange around it to fit in the largish head. I liked it, always thought that extra space in the head was odd. This 7 emitter light in a smaller head is really awesome, couldn’t resist!
I don’t recall the ano being shiny, but not the flat matte either. Just a normal decent ano as I recall.
