Before we place our orders, I hope that Ric will provide a little more info. On his web site, there are two turbo versions, one with step down one without. Also when the step down turbo was first listed on his web site a few days ago it showed PWM--700Hz which is the one that I would like. Some of you in on the group buy are listing a Warm White version. I don't see it listed at the top of this post in Ric's offer. Also some are wanting other items, batteries, drivers etc. I am all in just have never done a group buy of any kind before...
I want to be in but, i have to wait at least for 8-10 days to understand customer service of Ric's site. Ric mailed me 13 days ago that they sent me a new Balder SE-1 instead of defected one that i sent them back before. And today he mailed me again that they "will" send me a new Balder for change of my defected one. Behind being in confusion, i don't want to be in problematic conditions again.
The seller decides the number of orders needed for discount. Ric has done this.
The seller decides an end date for orders, otherwise we wait forever. Not complete.
The seller decides when the funds are due after we hit a certain number of orders at a certain price. Not complete.
This group buy is not organized very well, but it will work, we just need better communication and clearer guidelines in the future. Such as:
1. Keep a list in the 1st post of the thread of everyone that has promised to buy so we have a solid number.
2. A date that we will decide is the deadline, so we can get these things paid for and shipped.
3. For all the people wanting to add extra items, that needs to be done in an organized manner such as paying the correct amount to Ric's paypal and listing in the notes exactly what you want and not cluttering up the thread.
There are a few questions that would be nice to have answered.
