Hi guys, I went here for update and tell which the new light arrived few days, its working (some seconds which I tested) and without problem.
Thanks for everyone for helping
So, Banggood and Klarus replied me, they tell will send a new G30.
Klarus told about which cause the slow for reply my email, I understand and wait for the end of this case.
Thanks for all helping by users of this forum, a great help no doubt, and thanks Klarus to solve my problem.
Hi, I need to share my experience with the invisible support provided by Klarus... In september I bougth a G30 I have used some times and in the last week I realized that thing becomes brighter and don't shutoff. So I take the tail out and search for something which probably making a short but nothing found. I take a look in springs and they seems fried by high current and I only can figure the driver is shortened somehow..... I emailed Klarus telling this issue almost 7 days and nothing happens, they ignored me with your invisible warrant, invisible support and VISIBLE low quality! I recomend no one buy they Darkus flashlights, for the price, I bought more than 3 trustfires which lasted long that crap!
Just a follow-up to Steamers postā¦ I dont think Franz (in Brasil) should need to jump through hoops with a US supplier to attempt warranty repairs. If thats what it takes, I hope it works. Klarus still needs to start supporting its global customers and not turn its back on them.
Sad to say, thatās why I generally donāt buy lights expensive enough to need any warranty. When you hear of horror-stories like this, VoB and his experience with Jetbeam, etc., you realise those lights aināt Convoys, and there aināt any Simon to go to.
You could PM Klarus Tactical Flashlights on this forum. When I suggested that they should post their spam in the appropriate (Commercial) forum they were quick enough to PM me.
Yes, its really painfull when you pay a good amount and got a huge frustration with a crap product :rage: :confounded:
I will tell again, all companys have issues and any product is subjected to fail by some factory problem but high rates of problematic products indicates only two things: low quality or undersized components and this happens for one purpose: the OBSOLECENCE!
We especially now with the huge amount of trash generated all days, we need reliable products which last long, LAST LONG, but the āgreenā factorys only make trash with counted lifeā¦ā¦ :confounded:
Yep, thatās why I donāt pay obscene prices for fancy lights. My L2 is my most expensive light, I think, but if anything went wrong, I know Iād have backup both here (info, suggestions) and with Simon (buy parts), or just refit as needed on my own.
My XT12GT was faulty and banggood sorted me out really quickly fortunately. Iād hate to have had to have dealt with Klarus on it. It wouldnāt have been great as my light died before most people around the globe managed to get their hands on one. I was fortuante to get one from BG to do a review on and it was one of the first they shipped out. I think BG did Klarus a huge favour by sorting me out so quickly otherwise Iād have been there slagging them off before anyone (well, most people) actually got their hands on one.
Lets hope they do the right thing and post in this thread.
