Note they are somewhat ‘old’ - four/five years. There has not been much evolution in the 18350 format but more recent cells may have a bit more capacity (those test at 700 mAh). Make sure you buy new ones because LiIon cells do age even without use - or so is my understanding.
with the 18650 tube on the S41S my button top Samsung 30Q’s are a press fit and even stripped a bit of the shrink-wrap off of one.
worked OK just too wide for the extension tube. Same with protected 18650’s
they work fine in the S41 extended tube
Got my order of 18350s yesterday, and they’re labelled Efest. Need to check the capacity, but as they’re labelled 800mAh, I assume that they’re the Efest IMR18350 800mAh (Red) tested by HJK.
Index of Efest batteries (This is the index, as it keeps truncating the direct link to the battery review)
I have one and the S41 W/18350 fits if you leave the head above the elastic sides
being elastic you can push the entire body into the case and hit the bottom
butt the light is not secure and could conceivably fall out the open area at the base
works fine W/18650 tube installed
add…I had tried it with my S41S and it stayed in the upper position fairly well due to its grippier knurling
on trying it with my S41 it can by a little shaking, fall fully to the bottom part of the case
I can’t recommend this for use W/18350 configuration
I am looking for a spacer/battery case that could be placed in the lower part of this case to hold the S41 in position in the upper part of the case
might work a-treat as these pocket rockets can eat a battery pretty quick in showoff mode
~1.75” length seems optimum, same as 10440 /AAA :+1:
the width is partially flexible due to the elastic sides, as is square/round/oblong
as long as it can fit 1, or better yet, 2 18350’s
might make a very field-able case out of this genre
