Works one or two parallel 18650 cells which are not included, has USB output (can be used as powerbank) and additional red and blue LEDs for red, blue and purple light modes.
Be advised: main LED is probably some kind of XM-L clone, because there’s no Cree name in the description to be found. Still - for the price it should provide ample amount of light from 2x18650 cells - even stated 800lm should be possible but probably designates at best LED lumen. Two COB LEDs provide flood light, main LED is zoomable. There are 3 colors to choose from: black, red and blue.
It the most cost effective option on the market right now - parameters are not overstated: 2 USB output ports able to deliver up to 3A of current (combined) so its able to charge any smartphone out there. It doesn’t even require full sun to charge(performance is reduced of course). The same product is sold on amazon and elsewhere under Anker 20W and Anker 21W panel if you want to search for more reviews.
The flashlight uses 2xAAA cells and Nichia 219B LED with CRI over 90 at CCT=5000K. It has 3 modes and always starts in low (4lm), medium is at 45lm and high at 180lm.
To utilize LEDs to max extent and be able to get the most light it’s best to use 18650 high current drain cell.
Matching extension tubes are available:
note the opposite orientation of the tube on the 18350 tube
that is the wrong way to use it as the threads are not long enough on that end to have the body reach the contact ring
it works on the stainless because the threads are not anodized so current goes though them to the copper head
it won’t work on the black tubes
even though I think it looks more balanced the way it is
with the stainless model you can have a reversible clip position by reversing the tube :+1:
