18650 key locator?

Hey guys. It’s been awhile. I’ve needed a key chain for awhile. Was thinking tritium might be cool, but I know it’s not very bright and kind of expensive. Then I thought a battery powered light that’s always on might be cool. Do they make such a thing? I would want it to be visible from multiple angles and sort of intense. I guess the color of light wouldn’t matter too much. Also a battery life of around a month or more if possible. Sort of like the tail switches on the blf kronos. Maybe cr123a or 18650. I tried searching, but couldn’t figure out what to search for. You guys know of anything like that? Thanks for lookin

Unno. S2+ with lighted tailcap?

I dont think u want 18650 keychain, too big for me, even 14500 still big to some degree

Something like the Lambda Lights Nano [Keychain Flashlight] would be good if you could get one, I believe they are not made any more. Could make your own version.

I like tritium vials, got like eight on my keyring

this new metalic GITD stuff works for hours after lit

for locating the keychain a LED with 2-5mA would be more than enough a RCR16340 would be enough for a week

That’s almost exactly what I’m looking for. Just maybe more intense and a bigger body. Any clones around?

manker u11 has a blue led ‘dragon breath mode’
so you could find it at night, but you would have to put it in that mode prior to ‘losing your keys’

wle

Have you tried looking for “Glotoob” ?
I think FT has some clones, AA powered

I want to make something like this. I have some PET bottle preforms. I will cut them short. Install a PD68 lighted tailcap ring with 6 LEDs and a battery charging and protection circuit to charge with micro USB, and use it with very small micro quadcopter 100-200mAh lipo battery or with 16340.

do you have thought about moding a Nitecore Tube?
Just modify the switch or silicone button so its very hard press with fingernail to turn it on
you can even control the brightness with ramping as you wish

with coupon for 4.99$

That is too easy to buy something :sunglasses:
And with the 6 leds I can make it multicolor

That’s a lot closer to what I’m looking for. But the run time is lacking.
