JetBeam PA40
It is not the most powerful, it is not the most modern …. but I have used it for years, I gave it away and now I will do it with a new unit.
There was a time when JetBeam made really Premium models (now they are good but no longer makes them equal …) This is one of them.
Please, for any question about product commented here (especially those that I put own images, of which therefore I have them in my hands), feel free to ask it here, in this thread, is not necessary to use the PM. If I can answer the questions, I will be happy to do so!
Regards.
Imalent DT70
This is not in my style of EDC… but seems interesting, this months I am happy with my DN70 and DN35, Imalent is with interesting designs last year:4x18650
Rechargeable
16.000 lumens
OLED display
(limited stock)
Nitecore P16
I am not sure if really is the best option now, is a good design with agressive tactical look, good interface …. They show XM-L, but I think that now Nitecore is only selling P16 with XM-L2
In any case I show the price here:
2xAA impressive quality material, good clip and finish, aceptable power and a little poor interface (better without strobe….), power indicator (not available for many NiMH flashlights)
I have the cool white unit, very good price for the offered quality:
Zanfkare F1 (NW)
Well know by us, now I feel in my hands and is better than expected, is a Tank, with good clip, rechargeable, tailstand, good modes distribution, finish and threads Top quality, presentation of product is also Top, the first launch of Zanflare…was his best product at the moment. (F2 is good but his interface……
If you asked for a preferred flashlight in this months, …. Nitecore SRT9 (arrived recently but is impressive )
The best combination of Nitecore Die Cast flashlight + magnetic Ring + rear switch. (plus red, green, UV, strobe,….)
2x18650 with 1 led XHP50 for 2150 lumens.
power indicator, great clip design,….
best matchbox recargeable flashlight?, yes, there are no doubt.
Why¿?
The better interface of all; direct acces to lowest mode, direct access to Turbo, direct access las used mode, lock out option, battery level indication…. the better interface with 2 switch.
Battery of 500 mA
In the XP-G2 version, Turbo of 360 lumens. Lowest of 1 lumen.
I have tried, other like Manker, MecArmy SGN3, SGN5…. no competence for this. Nitecore TIP is the best in this format. 2017 version is nicest, but I prefer this interface.
Please!, if you want the DN70, you need batteries like this: the provided Imalent protected or for example some like the Liitokaala 26650 unprotected (my preferred). Be careful, the longest protected like the Klarus 26650 batteries are too long and not fit here:
