Eheh, I figured it out after a while using the Manker E11, the clip works really fine, and the light gets well stored in the pocket.
But my point is that I guess it is preferable to have a clip that is more simple to operate, without sacrificing the safety for us and for the light
But if the work has come that far to make the FW3A a reality, to make a clip for this light will be a piece of cake
We put our trust in you Fritz and The Miller :+1:
The original GB BLF A6 had a Titanium clip and imo was/is a good design but they (still) mess it up by not working it correctly and not using a thick enough material. Then instead of modifying the process and material thickness to make it right they switched to a thicker super hard stainless and continue the same process of manufacture which still turns out a well designed crapily made clip with lower quality metal. (Titanized stainless A6 clip at banggood)
Yeah I've broken a few also. At least with the original Titanium ones you could heat it up and re bend it.
I reshaped mine (titanium) as soon as I got it and I've been carrying it everyday for 2 years now and even though it's flimsy its still my favourite because of it's deep carry design.
No experience with them but judging by the pictures the quality and precision of the bends look top notch. I particularly like the SDmini and the EDC25.
Personally I never use clips on my lights, they just sit at the bottom of my pocket. So if I had the option, I’d rather not spend more on a clip Id never use
Right now we wait for reply from Lumintop.
I think the GT had their priority now.
They are very fast responding to that and want to make it “before the busy season” for the GT is something else. I guess the FW3A can fit their product range batter and thus be taken care off later.
So well we have to wait because of our own GT project, sorry to those not at all interested in that but it is what it is
