The swastika is a Buddhist symbol in East Asia so why should they care about pathetic Western states outlawing opinions (and research) such as Germany or France? (These free speech violations is at least as bad as the censorship you mention).
mfm, the blunder here is the fact that the packaging denotes the swastika as the German flag. And halo's point is a valid one about selling to western countries. Why should they care? Well, I guess that depends on how much they care about profit margins.
1) Since the package is in English, one can safely assume that the product is not targeted solely at Chinese buyers.
2) Even someone like you has to know that in the West, that symbol is one of unfettered evil and atrocities thrust upon mankind. Let us NEVER FORGET the millions of our family members who died to fight what that represents.
To confuse the Buddist or Hindu representation, or even the Christian 'bent cross' is a slap in the face of those who died to protect your liberties, as well as your freedom to argue this very point.
I've been to camps in Belgium and France, and to minimize their culture's feelings on the issue is not a judgement you are fit to make.
I don't have any freedom to argue any point in France and elsewhere but the politically correct truth (tm). It's the same thing as the Chinese censorship mentioned above, or worse.
And you make a strawman argument as usual, the original poster was criticizing Chinese censorship and criticizing Chinese people for not knowing Western history.
Your misdirected argument can be made in support of the same censorship.
False pretense? It was irrelevant since it was just one of your strawmans. I didn't criticize the original post, just the poster on the high horse that conveniently forgot the censorship in Europe regarding WWII and who apparently thought that all Westerners were experts in Chinese history.
Nah, I just dislike politically motivated state-declared "truths" which you cannot research the details about without getting several years of prison time.
