I have the information that Mountain Electronics E4-3C was most likely not real E4s, a BLF member did the purchase at cutter, their onlineshop is a disaster, wrong flux and bins are listed there they have not in stock at all.
They still have E4-3C on their webside, while a BLF member asking cutter for their highest flux bins for XHP35 gave only the result in HI E2-3C and HD E4-1C.

E2 is the highest flux bin for the XHP35 HI they have.
I’ve been doing business with Mountain Electronics for years and have got nothing but the highest quality goods from them. I don’t think they would have any part in deceptive selling, and are reputable business operators of the highest caliber.
Ahh. If it was Nichia, I’d know the product codes.
There are a lot of lights on the market these days that could use this an an upgrade. Acebeam in particular has been using a lot of 7000K XHP35 HI, and that just won’t do. Fortunately, Acebeams are really easy to swap.
Thanks Lexel for clarifying this mess with Cutter - I've been strongly critical of them, though I think Cutter's intent is good, just their organizational skills is severely lacking, and they are not well suited for Int'l online sales. I made a couple fairly large purchases from them in the past, and it's been very difficult communicating with them.
