Just wondering, from looking at the pictures in the OP, can the clip be reversed to the head side?

I dont think so. There is no space for the clip. And if you reverse it, the switch-signal from the inner tube wouldn’t have contact to the driver-board.

This pic shows some space, maybe not enough, could be machined out more from the head, maybe

The shouldered battery tube at the head end looks to be the same diameter, again, maybe?

It would be a nice feature, being able to reverse the clip, I like being able to attach it to a ball cap brim when the need for a hands free situation arises.

With a clip like from Solarforce L2 it would work.
You can clip it front and backwards without rotating the clip.

Picture is borrowed from the D4 thread

Edit: Can we change to this kind of clip? Smile

I think the FW3A’s clip looks pretty decent as-is.

Usually I’d suggest a deep-carry one instead, but with the way the body is shaped, I’m not sure that would really work well. Having the clip just across the narrow part of the body is a pretty good design.

Well, LT can use the original clip design, but use e second tongue which is bent back to the switch.

I’ve been debating between the FW3A and the Emisar D4 but my mind is settled. Please put me down for one FW3A!

Same dilemma, sort of. The FW3A is a must, I’m already on the list. I can’t decide if I need a D4 too though.

Some people would say, “chose? take both” but that is easy to say, we have two hands, and the other is filled with the Q8 already Big Smile

TBH, I think the FW3A will probably be better than the D4… but the D4 is available right now while the FW3A seems like it won’t be around until next year.

If you want less overlap in functionality though, the D1 is already up for pre-order…

I was recently in a flowstone cave and had some flashlights with me. But the problem was we should use the handrail on the stairs and I had one of my childs at the other hand.
Sometimes I used one hand for my K60 and SRK and one finger for the handrail. And the other hand for my daughter. Wink Thats not easy.
Having more hands would be nice at such days.
