Definitely it would make it more than look strange. Such a scaled up variant would be very distantly related to this project, purpose wise. Far less practical with less competitive advantage. Not like the to-be original FW3A, which is probably going to lead the pack if released next year.
However, I bet there would be a lot of interest for 18500 and 18350 versions. Not my preference most of the time, but many BLFers think different.
I’d be interested in a single-emitter 18350 version, especially if it could be in a particularly small host and come with a deep-carry clip matched to the small host. I guess that would make it the FW1A instead of FW3A.
I believe you already know DQG 26650 3rd version (with bigger head) using 7 XP-G2. I don’t have ver. 3, but I have and like ver. 2 a lot.
I think 4 or 5 leds is enough, some advantages are longer run time, more bright, stable tail stand and with Narsil can have many options of UI (and brightness setting).
