IMO, quad 26650 would be perfect.

18500 and 18350 would interest me quite a bit, especially as TK said with single emitter.

This would be lovely!
+ 1 here, if this goes further on a “future project”! Thumbs Up

What about a 18350 with second UV-LED.
Handy for curing glue or checking stuff.

There is IIRC a Nitecore lamp with a hole in the reflector for a red LED. That similar for UV.
Or how far can a mule throw?

For UV, it’s probably a good idea to get a separate dedicated light. The kind of UV which gets used as an add-on is generally not worthwhile.

I think the FW3A is a nice addition to the Lumintop line up, especially if the A goes well and we go further on B, C and T versions.

Put me down for one. I’ll be in trouble if the B, C, and T drop at the same time.

Will update list later Wink

I believe you already know DQG 26650 3rd version (with bigger head) using 7 XP-G2. I don’t have ver. 3, but I have and like ver. 2 a lot.
I think 4 or 5 leds is enough, some advantages are longer run time, more bright, stable tail stand and with Narsil can have many options of UI (and brightness setting).

MARK and lst updated

Added this to top OP:

A word of warning for the BLF specials I am involved in.
The BLF part is done by BLFers who do it in their spare time, despite they may seem professionals and the work they do is at professional level, BLF is not our full time job. So give us a break and relax if thing are not going as fast as you want.
Talking about how fast things are going, it most likely won’t but sometimes can, nothing is sure so expect waiting:
Waiting for news and updates.
Waiting for the project to come to fruition.
Waiting till the result can finally be ordered.
And then waiting for arrival at your home, shipping from China can take a long time.
So relax, enjoy the many other facets of BLF while you wait and remember:
It is done when it is done Smile

Welcome to BLF to the two new members I had not said it to when they asked to be put on the list.

That’s a good guideline for life in general. When you find The Good Stuff, get more than one. It may be a long time before anything similarly good comes around again.

That depends. Are women property?

Only two?

One to keep in “as new” condition
One as a backup
One for general use
One for experimenting
One for spare parts

5 seems about right for flashlights
4 for women, they are no use for spare parts Silly

Beam me up!
