That cap looks like a chinese copy of the Optech cap which is available in the US for 9 dollars on Amazon. I’m only mentioning this because my picture of the authentic cap is used here.

Chances are it’s the same Chinese cap but without the Optech brand.

I already signed up for the bag’n cap, but while we’re considering the GT transportation, protection and storage, i would be even happier with a hard case padded with custom foam insets for the GT. Maybe Neal could come up with something?

Debbie Downer here but I usually don’t like having zippers agains my items even if the teeth are plastic. The zipper pull is always metal and must clear the item. Also the start of the zipper is always metal.

It looks like that’s a tight squeeze. I’m searching for a clamshell style or drop in lens type case personally.
