Jason, itās a huge improvement over my Moto X Pure. The call quality is amazing! The fingerprint reader is something I thought Iād never need. Now I couldnāt live without one.
Funny, I had exactly the same experience! At first, this fingerprint was like a gimmick to me, until I try it! It works really well! Technology is making our lives better, why should we do without  :+1:
I am already impressed by my āoldā OnePlus3 screen and camera (ability to take bright photos even in low light situations)ā¦yours should be more improved. I am planning of upgrading mine too.
Gearbest had a flash sale of that variant for I think $435 something if I recall correctly.
Iām starting to look for a replacement for my Nexus 5X. This 5T looks interesting, but unfortunately it says itās not compatible with the Verizon network. Iāll have to keep looking.
Oh, I suggest you should try using its Dash charger technology instead of the usual slow or 1A charger. Itās NOT only for convenience. Hereās why?
Itās like this: In OnePlusā website about this technology, there is some kind of circuitry in its original charging cable that though the charging is fast, the battery does not heat up because that special circuitry routes the heat back to the power supply adaptor, INSTEAD of the battery. Have you noticed the phone barely gets warm when its original charger set is used?
I bought several micro-usb-to-usb-C adaptors connectors just in case the original usb-C cable malfunctions. I tried it once (used my iPhoneās USB adaptor with a good micro-USB cable and put in the usb-C adaptor) and the phoneās back portion heat up a lot more with the slow or low charging rate!
At the upper-left portion of the phone, the is a led that glows purple when Dash charging (original adaptor/red cable should be used) and yellow if some other charger is used at a slower, ānormalā rate.
And itās been a well-known fact that heat is one of the major factors that brings lilo to its earlier demise.
