You shouldn’t assume anything about the MF05 because we have no idea what kind of light it’s going to be.
It could be a medium sized light designed to do a constant 10k to 12k lumen. Or maybe a giant light like the MF03 that can do higher outputs, but not continuously. We don’t know, yet.
Maybe “assuming” was the wrong term to use so I changed it.
I wasn’t referring to the physical size, only that I assumespeculate it will be multi-emitter and probably more emitters/more power than the MF03 (which I think is the general consensus?) And reinforcing that theory is the fact that Astrolux didn’t think the MF03 needed active cooling.
I guess OTOH it could actually be only a single emitter, but I highly doubt it.
Given mf01 is already 12k lumens and mf02(gorgeous looks)/4 is already ultra throwers, mf05 must be a beast with 7x xhp70.2 using the same tube thats fits 2 similar battery carriers 4x18650 ,which needs massive heatsinky thus the active cooling fan built in. hopefully its a budget ~30k lumens class budget light with great quality and looks so it can be a keeper. m thinking this could be the budget rival to the legendary but ulgy dx80 which is out of budget for most………… for now……….
i was wondering where mf03 went and i just checked it out and boy what a waste of reflector space and thus low light reflected efficiency. Yea i thought 7x big well spaced reflectors light like a typical skyrayking will make it repectable a semi thrower provided the head needs to be Massive…. like bigger than a mf04 to fit in big enough reflectors for the 7leds because xhp70 is big by itself. 4.5k lumens x7 can be great brute throwers if the individual reflectors are decent sized. this means the head needs to be 120cm at least.
