If that wasn’t a specific request, I would suggest the Jaxman E3. Currently it can be chosen bewteen XP-G2 Neutral White and Nichia 219 and the driver has 2 modes. It will probably have 3 modes.
Or if there is a specific light design you like, you might could do a led swap. Usually not to hard to do.
If your gonna be a Tint junkie, its about necessary.
I’m also recommending Reylight TiLAN or pineapple, but don’t buy it just yet. New TiLAN V3 & pineapple V3 coming very soon.
V3 With some upgrades.
1. Max 473 lumens with 14500. better runtime.
2. Offer AA extension tubes. (a different tube design)
3. 2.6V LVP for Li-ion.
4. Temp step down.
5. New clip design.
6. Memory/Moon by default selectable by 8 clicks.
The Jaxman E3 may be what you’re looking for, I contacted them last week and they tell me there’s a new driver being developed for it, was told to wait a couple of days.
Thanks for this! It’s exactly the 14500 light I’ve been thinking about! (Nichia 4000K) :+1: Thought I was going to have to mod something or build one.
I should have thought to look to Jaxman but never noticed an AA there before.
I believe you meant TG06 djozz, right?
I actually prefer this new version of the E3 It will be better for some mods :smiling_imp: And overall is prettier than the old version. Jaxman is doing it well done once again
Of course TG06, I still have a TG06S at home waiting, Throfire sent it for review half a year ago. Yet another review of that light would be too boring to post, will have to think about a bit more exciting format.
I’m pretty sure you’ll come up with some nice mode to present and improve the flashlight I’m thinking about something nice for the E3, but i’m not sure if I’ll make it.
OT, the nichia on that light with 3 modes will probably be a nice thing to have around! As on the gorgeous ReyLight
Robert, this looks nice, unfortunately I can’t go for it.
BTW how do you keep the shine? I used clear Rustoleum lacquer on my Massdrop Brass Tool with medium results
This comes from the factory this way in a vacuum sealed bag. But I use Cape Cod polishing cloths. Work great, don’t smell like chemicals, and the shine lasts for a long time
