I read this thread every day. As soon as the round 3 announcement was made I updated some personal info on my PayPal account. I couldn’t be more excited.
That reminds me. It is important that everybody have their Paypal account info up to date. Shipping address, your name, email and phone number is all pulled from there.
YES! This is SUPER important. Many of the issues from the last batch were caused be incorrect info and having to update order info after the order was placed.
This time around there will be a $5 fee for any changes to the information after the order is placed.
Also if there are any issues with the shipping or otherwise due to the information not being correct, all associated fees and charges will be the buyers responsibility (there were a few cases of the wrong address being used and the order was returned to lumintop, costing them more then the light just in the combined shipping costs).
If the issue is lumintops fault they eat the cost themselves without an issue.
Im here, and im very excited. the only negative thing is that it’s starting to get a lot brighter on the evenings over here, so when I’ll get my hands on this light, there will be no darkness. Because I will use it to spot wolves that might be out on the fields. They have seen wolves on the fields where we walk our dog. (Gf is afraid they might attack our dog) im not so sure about that though. So she practically forced me to buy it. (Not complaining though lol)
It might be that with all the delays and mishaps, people may have a hard time trusting these kind of posts. But what do I know.
Previously, Neal said that there was no problem with sending. Flashlight will be sent via dhl espress, that is, there are no problems with the delivery to my country.
But then again and again I hear that the flashlight is not sent. Will be shipped later, later, again later …
I will check with him and see. I could have gotten the countries mixed up. I know one of the countries in your area had some issues with customs clearance IIRC.
Ok, I must have mixed you up with another place. I will ask Neal when is going on when I talk to him next (it is both the weekend and the middle of the night in China now)
Neal said on 29 Mar that the light was shipped by DHL, but no tracking # yet.
I really wish it would have been sent registered mail. Since it’s going to my folks’ house, I’ll have to pay to have it re-shipped USPS to my APO address.
I’m not complaining much, at least it’ll get done.
Paid December 4th, received DHL tracking number today by phone call. Tracking shows it was picked up by DHL today and is leaving China. Probably safe to assume that others will be receiving their lights soon too. When Neal posted to contact him if anyone had issues I sent him a PM and he replied that he totally missed my order. Glad I PM’d him!
