I didn’t wear out any yet. Maybe because I bought too many lights. :sunglasses:
But my car remote switch on PCB did wear out so I think maybe it can happen to flashlight too.
Come to think about this extra switches on Niwalker, maybe they can make it to remember ramping mode(if Niwalker develop one) if it is just firmware code development and won’t increase their cost much experimenting with it. If it works at the end, predetermined mode and ramping mode can be access easily for different purposes if user program the switches to remember them. I understand why people like ramping mode, it is fun and some people just like to adjust the level to their perfect preference. From the beginning I don’t mean to say ramping is completely useless, what I meant to say was it is overrated when people say it is superior than predetermined level mode and suggest manufacturer to switch to ramping UI.
How about single or double click? I do not have a sample with me now. For my VOSTRO, it took less than a second of hold time to switch to other flashing modes.
Received my second Vostro yesterday, unfortunately the led is not centred…….any suggestions on how to centre it? The centering ring has a lot of play. I have used double sided tape, but each time I tighten the bezzel, it pushes the ring out of centre. Compared to my first vostro, the hotspot is very blury and not getting same distance either.
