Will anyone be interested in U2 5B tint?

Well, interested yes but will these also achieve 10,000 lumens as XP-L Hi V3 1A? I’m not sure how old the U2 binning is. I guess V4 is the latest binning for XP-L.

it’s U6 5B, the lumens is 1200lms less than ROT66 XPL Hi V3 1A according to the data from the cree site

I am quite sure Fireflies did study the price structure from various brands (e.g Emisar). I will try my best to slash a few more bucks for you guys.

I’m really curious where they bought the 219B 9080 emitters. The only places you can get them is from LEDRISE that sells for $4.50 each if you buy a full roll or $3.50 from Virence.com, which has very limited quantities and definitely not enough for such a large production. Assuming they buy from LEDRISE, that would be about $5.00/each so 9x$5 = $45 for emitters alone.

I have no inside information, but when I first saw this light, I thought perhaps Clemence had split a reel with them.

Why is there a big surcharge on those XP-L Hi LEDs? Are these more expensive than those already-rare Nichia 219B R9080?
I’m very much interested in the U6 5B tint but how many interested user do you need until Sunday?

XP-L HI is more expensive than 219B/C, that’s why it costs more for all the Emisar lights as well. The 219B is “rare” now, but it wasn’t particularly expensive when it was available, and Fireflies must have a good stock.
