Yes, I have a short tube coming from Simon any day now. Thanks, I was hoping I didn't screw up buying those batteries. Finally today the seller on Alibaba sent me some info about it below.
Maybe a dumb question, but can the SkyRC MC3000 charge these 26350 batteries? I'ts not listed in their product sheet, but it should work shouldn't it? I just got an email from someone at SkyRC and they said it can't charge them, but often I have found that people who reply from manufacturers sometimes know nothing about their product except from what was last printed.
No, just want to know if it would charge them? I'm not at home today but you have a point, I never looked to see if the slide rails would even fit those batteries or if there is too much of a gap.
Looking at the specs, it can fit 18350 (35mm in length) as well as 26650 (26mm in diameter). Just put those two together and you have 26350.
Then just set your charge rate. The standard charge rate (for maximum life) is .4A or 400mA. I’ve always done them at 1A, which seems fine. The maximum charge rate is 2A. So I’m kind of in the middle.
Thanks Jason, good way to technically figure out it should work! Of course I should have known that but I didn't :D BTW, on many website those batteries show up as purple, even on the seller at Alibaba where I go them from, but mine are blue.
They seem to be ok. They arrived at 3.82V so I just popped them in my L6 right away and no problem holding turbo mode. They don't seem to drain that fast so better than I was hoping for.
Banggood order of Imalent 26350 cells failed after 80 days ( they refunded ) , so now I am without 26350’s for my Haikelite SC26…Will these purple unbranded cells fit ? Are they as safe as the Imalent cells ?..Are there any Imalent vendors other than Banggood ??, I see Mountain Electronics doesn’t carry them …
I plan to pick up 4 of the 26350 from Mtn Electonics in the near future. I have to measure the driver, etc to make sure my thoughts on my XHP70 blaster will all work out, but my light is still in the mail.
Purple cells can be used with SC26 without any problems. I am also using SC26. The SC26 includes two 26350 batteries in series (two 26350 batteries are allowed in the manual). They are good batteries. Even after two years they have full capacity. I made the measurements tonight. Current discharge 0.5 amp.
