I got my special order FW3D #1
yesterday! A Devin Thomas Damascus / Stainless Raindrop pattern . It is truly a work of art.
My special FW3D #2
should be ready to pick up next week. It is gonna be a Brad Vice (Alabama Damascus) made from a billet of ’Alabama Buckshot Damascus’.
Pictures to follow if I can just figure out how to capture the images in that dream I just had.
Hello Teacher,
I’ve been having the same Dream about the FW3D- Raindrop and Alabama Buckshot Damascus Too! That is some Beautifully Crafted Damascus and it Really would make a Fine Looking FW3D Flashlight for Sure! Maybe even make One extra with 4 straight Flutes from the Tail Up to 1/8” from where the head or Optic seats and turn 3 small rings to Dispurse any Heat from the Front End? Etch it and that would be Absolutely Beautiful, just a Little Different then the Original Sleek Damascus Version of the Elegant FW3A Original I Dream of at least twice a week.
I sure look forward to getting That Sleek light in my hands when I am Awake, and not just Dreaming
Hi Tooreal….
Yeah, both those would make beautiful lights for sure!!
I’m acquainted with Brad Vice , their shop is less than 20 miles from my house.
I think I could get a proper sized billet from him fairly reasonably.
I have two friends that are machinist & teach that at two different vocational schools. One in my county & one in a neighboring county. They each have the latest equipment at their disposal.
When I actually get a FW3A in hand I am gonna disassemble one & take it to each of them to see what the possibility’s are. It sure can’t hurt.
Even if I had them change the internals a bit so as to eliminate the inner tube & electronic tailcap…. it would still be a beautiful light. .
All types of possibilities…… if I can get at least one of them on board.
Time will tell……
Please add me for one with LH351D.

(I wouldn’t mind having one of each other types in case they were built )
I have the feeling that they are trying to make a FW3U.
I have the feeling that they are trying to make a FW3U.
I’d take one as well
(what does the U stand for? :innocent: )
Uranium
I have the feeling that they are trying to make a FW3U.
Is the stepdown measured in half-lives? It might not need aux leds. It might glow all by itself!
I was thinking unobtanium
Ahhhh! I was thinking Uranium. Right now, any material is Unobtanium!
I was thinking unobtanium
That would turn the FW3_ into a great light
this thread is starting to go way off-topic now i think ? better we keep the original light talk only here or what u say ? maybe make it an other thread for other versions of the fw3 light maybe ??
Yeah, exactly. Why are these signatures still so bloody long?

Yep we sure will. :+1: . I’ll have to get a second job just to keep up with the FW3_ Series.
It will indeed be a pleasure to lay hands on the FW3A.
Thanks for the opportunity in your Give Away too!!
And personally, I like your looooong sig line.
