I have been looking at it, not sure that I am willing to drop that coin on it or not.

Cheap, fast and barely legal:
.
Not too bad knife laws in Austria at least

It’s a beast. Built like a tank and weighs about the same as well.
Yes, there’s some size and weight difference compared to the smaller version for sure!

Nice looking knife. :+1: Love the scales.
Is it a Spyderco or a clone?

It’s a clone. I wasn’t prepared for how big it is however. Not that I dislike it but, I should have paid more attention to weight and dimensions. It’s found a good home in a go bag. I would need bigger britches to tote that thing around, suspenders maybe as well.
Thanks for that info. That does sound rather large for pocket carry on a regular basis.
I am gonna take a closer look at the smaller one……

I really wanted to like this one, but ugh it just feels SO cheap. I don’t know if the one’s they sell with higher end materials have a better action but this certainly doesn’t have the fidget factor I enjoy in a knife.

Thanks for the heads up. I had this one in my cart for a while.

I’ve looked everywhere I know to look for this one but can’t find it. :person_facepalming:
What is it & where can I find it? Link appreciated if ya’ have it.
@ rcwiily: What do you mean by “fidget factor”??
Is the action not smooth? Is the build quality crap? Fit n’ finish bad?
I’d really like to know, because this one is “calling” to me. :money_mouth_face:

I like knives that are fun to open and close and just keep my hands busy. This guy is painful to release the liner lock on and the muted plastic sounds give it an overall unsatisfying feeling.
The scales look and feel like cheap plastic. It has ceramic bearings but they are housed in nylon washers so the action feels mushy.
/\ … Thanks for the info rcwiily……

Haven’t been able to put this down since posting the video of its action in budget knife thread yesterday…
I was trolling 2019 IWA videos on knifes yesterday, quite a few i would like, and none of them i could afford.
