I would go for a D4S.

I have both, the D4S with Nichia 219Cs (besides some additional D4) and also a new
Fireflies E07 with Nichia 219Bs.

I love the tint of the 219B leds and also the form factor (21700) of this light.
But that’s it!

These are the flaws of the E07:

  • it damaged my Samsung 40T battery (which is unprotected and exactly according to specs) , because the battery simply doesn’t fit into the light.
  • The tube is sharp and hurts your fingers if you hold it in your hands. Machining is bad
  • Two LEDs on the button can never be switched OFF
  • button is not assembled correctly and feels very very cheap

All that has NOT been done by Fireflies is great. (Firmware, LED tint, AUX Board, etc..)
All the Fireflies is responsible for is somewhat broken….

I will not buy anything from them again the next months…. (a long as those things have not changed)

Looks like an interesting light but with all the QA issues i have to pass, still waiting for my d4s since xmas but should be here soon, but yeah they need improve the issues if they want build a brand people can count on.

I mean if emisar for similar price can offer a great light with almost no issues etc then fireflies shouldnt skip on quality either thats just bad for this price.

...where Frugal meets with Flashlight!

Where is the best place to order this E07?

What LED’s do I need to make the 6900 LM? I’m guessing the V2 5000’s or V3 6500’s? Banggood doesn’t list the LED’s for 6900 LM I think.

FF Website only says blue utility lights. Have they gone away from other colours?

Thanks

I have both and like them both equally. Both have XP-L HI emitters in CW. Raw output isn’t a comparison because the E07 has the emissar beat. TH emissar will run it’s turbo setting longer and that is no shocker right? I would prefer the E07 though for fit, handiness and raw power when it’s needed. I wish the E07 had a magnetic tailcap but that my only complaint.
Both lights have worked flawlessly since purchase. The E07 I got a couple months ago, the D4S about a year now.

light addict....yeah I've got the bug.

Where did you buy your E07 from?
