Decent flashlights for the price. Throwy beam pattern. A bit of green tint on the outside of the hot spot. Good light output, but they eat through batteries really fast. You’re looking at 20-25 min run time on max, using high capacity NiMH cells. Wish there was an easy way to convert them to Li-Ion.
Picked up a Dewalt Headlamp yesterday for $17.98 CAD at Homedepot Canada. Looks like neutral white compared to my dollorama headlamp but when compared to one of my 5000k XPL-hi nw flashlights the dewalt is an ugly green.
"Miss" was used as a verb. dchomak is a Mr. I believe at least 2 BLF member's have tried to reach out to him. They have not reported back having any success. They both would have if they did find out anything. I've lost so many family members this past year+ that I have not had the heart to try to reach out myself. I guess it's time I give it a shoot. I think I might have his address with some copper sheet I purchased from him.
I talked to him a few months ago and he was in the process of moving across country. Y’all have seen all the stuff on here he found, so imagine moving all that plus 1000X more. lol… He is probably still moving his batteries!
Now take into consideration, I have not spoken to him in a few months so I can not guarantee he is alive and well, I just know he was moving and that takes time. I will email him to let him know he is missed lol.
I’m very impressed with the light so far. It’s not particularly attractive, but just fine for a laundry room! It has decent output and a nice 3000K color temperature. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the second one.
