So, freeme, what happened with all these ended posts?

Sorry for the copy and paste, but I would like to know what happened.

I think some numbers or driver info are important for this one as the 3v xhp50.2 is a pretty straight swap and gets the same output as a lot of stock single cell xhp70.2 lights and i think will get more throw as well, smaller emitter(s) with similar output?

Either way i’m probably not getting another one, partially because the 5$ xhp50.2 swap is so easy.

That said, i’m sure it’l be great bang for your buck like the first one is.

What will the numbers be?

3500Lumen/100Kcd?,,,,Just a wild guess.

Based on the Convoy L6 70.2 smooth reflector is it safe to assume the FT03 70.2 should be around 2200-2400 lumens with 400-500 meters of throw?

I’m also assuming we’re looking at an extremely fast turbo step down due to the very small amount of heat sinking/thermal mass?

The SST-40 already does that amount of lumens with significantly more throw than the XHP70.2 would have so that would be rather pointless.

I’m guessing 3800-4200 lumen, which again is kinda pointless unless you want a larger hotspot in my opinion since the 3v XHP50.2 can reach the same output with the original driver and will have more throw due to being a smaller emitter.
