Here ACEBEAM W30 BLOS (Beyond-Line-Of-Sight) white laser light comes for you. This unique illuminator generates a high concentrated single output of 500 lumens beam, and its beam can reach remarkable beam distance of 2408 meters away. The high-drain 21700 5100mAh USB rechargeable battery provides a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes. The convenient USB charging function allows to charge the battery timely. An 18650 battery adapter is also included for wider battery options. The battery indicator tells the battery voltage status at any time any where. The included Red filter adds to versatility of the W30. Moreover, W30 can be used as a diving light with a depth under water 100 meters.
It does illuminate stuff closer by as well
I think that the beam is not that different from the BLF GT, illuminating a smaller area (about 5 times smaller in area) a bit brighter, but I still think it can be a useful illumination. I have seen the illumination that the Maxabeam gives (up to 12 Mcd), even that one can be applied as a useful beam without telescopes and such.
Lasers have speckle and are also monochromatic which makes them very bad for illumination.
This is not just a laser, it is laser phosphor, basically a higher intensity LED with a laser diode instead of a regular blue diode.
