I prefer alu bezel. Cheaper, lighter, better looking. I may change the preference once I break some bezel but that’s yet to happen. 
It looks really nice with the steel bezel. It’s an attractive design.

Maybe. There are no definite dates. They try to design it quickly, but quality and reliability is more important. They make prototypes to inspect, then make small changes to fix any issues and/or improve it, etc… Sometimes it only takes a couple tries to get it perfect and sometimes it takes many, many tries which delays things. So it will be ready when it’s ready.
