My system has already paid for itself. I paid around $16,000.00 initially for panels, new 120 amp panel retro, inverter, misc.parts, permits and such. I received a little over $15,00.00 in Federal Tax credits. My out of pocket after all was said and done was around $1000.00 which I have saved in electric Billâs over the past year.
