WTS/GB: NICHIA 219B NVSL219BT-V1 R9080 EMITTERS! sw45k, sw40, sw35, sw30

This needs little introduction… Pretty much the ultimate in LED tint attested by many. High CRI as well as high R9.

I have the following Nichia 219b r9080 emitters available:

3000k sw30 d180 L2 r9080
3500k sw35 d200 L2 r9080
4000k sw40 d220 L2 r9080
4500k sw45k d200 L2 r9080 Out of stock. No ETA on restock at the moment. UPDATE: I have a lead on some more sw45k but I’d probably need a minimum of 200 pcs to make the purchase worthwhile. Anyone interested in another group buy? If so, please let me know how many you’d like.

Emitters are $3.50 each. Price break on orders of 20 pcs and above.
Shipping to the USA will be $4 for USPS first class or $8 for Priority.
PM me for shipping rates to anywhere outside the USA.

If interested, please state how many you’d like as these will sell in the order of interest in case I run out.
Thanks for looking!

Additional testing with specific r-values:

Test results for the sw40 bin:
sw40 DUV: -0.0031

.

Test results for the sw45k bin:
sw45k DUV: -0.0044

_____

Also, I’m seeing if there’s any interest in the sw27 and sw30 variants of the 219b r9080 emitters as well as the sm4050e bin of the 219c. I will need about 300 orders of each CCT to possibly make this happen. If you would like to participate in this group buy, please comment below with your desired cct/qty and I’ll add you to this list.

sw27 (2700k) group buy: [Unsuccessful – CLOSED]

sw30 (3000k) group buy: SUCCESSFUL! Shipment received on 9/3.

sw35 (3500k) group buy: SUCCESSFUL! Shipment received on 9/3.

219c sm4050e (4000k, below BBL) group buy: [Unsuccessful – CLOSED]

That is a wonderful led, personally I like it better than the sw45 version. But I still have a bunch of those (from Clemence at the time) so these are not for me.

Like to know this as well. I ordered the sw40 from illumn but they are d200 instead of d220.

D220 is just a tad brighter than D200.

If I’m not mistaken, d220 is rated at 220 lumens at 700 mA while d200 is 200 lumens at 700 mA.

I don’t have any of these, so pardon the silly question, what footprint is needed? Will they fit on boards that were made for an XPL emitter?

These use a 3535 footprint in the XP format so yes, they will fit on boards that fit an XPL emitter Smile

The higher flux bins are usually less rosy. My D200 3000K 219B 9080 are VERY GREEN because D200 is a high flux bin for that CCT.
Have you tried the 4000K D220?

Btw, since we had so many group buys for the 4000K and 4500K and the 4500K has been available in the Fireflies series, I wonder how many people would be interested in the 2700K and 3000K rosy variant if you can get some of those. I for one would buy a bunch, especially the 2700K.

I’ve sent this most recent bin of sw40 and sw45k to a friend for testing. Will most likely have results by tomorrow.

As for the 2700k and 3000k variants, I can try and get a hold of them but it would likely require a group buy large enough to warrant the cost and effort. If I could get interest in at least 300 pcs of each CCT, I could probably make it happen.

It is worth being aware there already is a user who is selling 3000K R9050 219B’s in the BLF Buy and Sell subforum. I don’t know how many he has, though, so perhaps there is more demand than what he has on hand.
