Since youâre talking about avatars, why donât you:
1. Remove that creepy large picture in your sig. Itâs annoying, cluttering, and distracting. Nobody else seems to use pictures in their sig, at least not like that.
2. Use a plain image for your avatar, not a GIF that simulates a video. Again, distracting, though not nearly as bad as your awful sig picture.
3. This one is minor, but why donât you post in plain text? Trying to quote anything from you means cutting out reams of garbage mark-up tags. And the mark-up youâre using doesnât seem to enhance anything in your post.
I know, I know. Youâre not going to do any of that. Iâm just saying if youâre going to throw stones, âŚ.
Just a quick update, also added at the top of the first post:

Titanium (FW3T): BLFFW3T 20%OFF
⌠and for a short time, there is a private 25% off coupon available for people who already bought a FW3A and post pictures of it in this thread.
WalkIntoTheLight, I think you should have a large image in your non-existent signature, add an animated gif as your avatar, and start using the Advanced Post Editor.
Of course, I predict that you won't do any of these things because...
Hey, really fun stuff going on. I hope Iâm not interrupting anything important right now but I made some stickers and currently running a giveaway on r/flashlight if anyone is interested
I think he is using the âAdvanced post editorâ option (look below the text box when writing a comment). If you switch to that the tags disappear. if you need to quote someone using this format, you could click the quote button, switch to the advanced editor, copy the text sans formatting, then switch back to regular. Extra work to be sure, but maybe less frustrating than deleting all the formatting. Iâm not sure the formatting adds a lot for the amount of extra text it creates, but using the advanced post editor may come with some benefits we arenât seeing by using the âsimple post editorâ (my preference) anyhow.
Personally, I donât go for all the flash some like to use in sigs/avatars/etc, but Iâve usually had positive interactions with raccoon city. I think he is a valuable member here, and it feels like we really shouldnât care too much about what he puts in his signature. I heard this line in a play one time: â âto each his ownâ⌠said the lady as she kissed the cowâ. You can use an ad blocker to remove/block those items if you wanted to, and it wouldnât cause any trouble or drama.
Iâve not had much interaction with nev since I joined, but it seems from some of his recent posts that he is a kidder (imagine the uncle that always tries to âyank your chainâ or âget your goatâ) and probably doesnât like Anduril as much as I do. Bad words are out of place here, but it seems he changed the avatar since then. Iâd say weâre probably good at this point.
As is sometimes said: âIt takes all typesâ.
Iâm way excited about the FW3-CuTi version. I decided to save my Lexel AUX board for when it arrives. Iâm torn on whether I should put some 219bâs (the lovely SW45K variety) in it or some LH351Dâs (5000k 90+ cri). My wife will get the FW3C once Iâm finished modding, polishing, and applying renaissance wax to it.
I think theyâre just distracting, especially racoonâs creepy sig picture. If it was small, maybe not so much. And really, what do big unrelated sig pictures add? At best, it makes the forum look like itâs filled with advertising.
Iâll look into an ad-blocker. Do you recommend one for Chrome? Ad block plus, maybe? Can it remove just racoonâs sig, and not mess anything else up? Nobody elseâs sig bothers me in the least, so I donât want to block anything else.
