What about a new design of the triple they have F3X? Direct drive it with triple SST40 should be able to get 5500 lumens fairly easy with a good cell? Just need to make it beefier so it can handle heat properly.

Not working for Luminus now. But it has his perkes to work with a Flashlight company that is not only making lights for themself. So they hear about things.

At the moment i try to get one in Jos hands. But i it will take some days to get a answere. If they are ok with it we will send one or two to Jos for destructive testing
The only thing i know so far is, that it is using 6V and ~6A. If you check the picture you see it is a 4 die emitter like the XHP-50. . .
I also try to get a datasheet. But I do not think i will get any answere before next week.
