*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

How hard would it be to replace the frosted lens on it, because i think if its easy enough, that could be another thing in the accessory kit. Like the ones you showed in the video

Yes, I am interested in one (1) pc. please…

I finally read all the tech regarding this (a big read)… and yes it would be very handy…

Would like to add an additional 3 to my current 2 for a total of 5.

4 cell light.

9th month coming in quickly for this GB to finally start

9th time I’ve checked this thread today.

9 ways to finish the day.

$, money, is a thing I want to throw at the lantern.

Here are this week’s additions to the interest list and the files linked to in post #1 have been updated.

Thanks

UPDATES: - Aug,18,2019 >>

  • As the production of the new BLF LT1 Lantern is approved and Sofirn is preparing to begin the production, they have announced the Group-Buy Price!

> For the BLF LT1 lantern, ( without-batteries) the GB price is to be $49.99 USD.
> For the BLF LT1 lantern, (with four sofirn 3000mAh 18650 batteries) the GB price is to be $62.99 USD.

Updates will be posted soon on when the orders can be placed and the details with links.

Thanks. Finally! Where do we order?

PM’s will be sent when the buying instructions have been sent from Sofirn.

NOW IS A GOOD TIME FOR EVERYONE TO CHECK THAT THEIR BLF USER NAME IS CORRECT IN ONE OF THE FILES LINKED TO IN POST #1. AN INVALID OR MISSING NAME MEANS NO PM. :frowning:

:+1: :+1: :+1:

The price w/ batteries was cheaper than i thought it was going to be
Does this mean GB will be end of August, beginning of September

I am estimating around that time. :+1:

Wonder which battery it is, mAh and protected or unprotected. Guess we will find out soon.

Double checked I’m on the list because I don’t wanna miss this. I’ve wanted a good lantern for so long and this is going to be an amazing lantern.

it’s only money :stuck_out_tongue:

+1

I’m currently entry 1865 for 1 lantern, but would like to add another lantern, for a total of 2.

ok, i have found a perfect “camera lens cover” that fits the head-unit to cover the bottom to protect the driver from damage. ( I will show that in an upcoming video soon of accessories for the LT1. :+1:

Can I use the same 4 batteries I use in an MF01S in the LT1 interchangeably with no repercussions assuming I always keep voltages across all 4 batteries the same? Sorry I’m still struggling with some battery concepts.

Sure as long as the batteries are all matching types, charge rates, button-tops. The built-in charger circuit of the LT1 is a TP5100 chip based, which is one of the best regulated Li-Ion 18650 charging controllers, (if not the best current) for Lithium-Ion on the market now. Added that the driver circuit (designed by Lexel, with the LT1 Andruil firmware by Toykeeper) will keep the batteries at the optimum levels.

I’m also very curious to know what these so friend batteries are

So, in a way, I can use the LT1 as a dedicated charger for the 4 cells to keep everything the same across them?
