CBD nowadays is made from low-THC hemp, not conventional marijuana. It’s legal in the US, per-state and federally, and is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
Of course, just like with 30Qs (see what I did there?), you gotta get ’em from reputable sources.
You can always try it and see how you feel. I would advice getting above 5% concentration. I know multiple people with artrites type deceases who can only sleep when using cbd and or thc. But its not some magic drops that fix everything
CBD helps only in reducing inflamation and soothing THC effects. For real stuff only THC helps, not widely available stuff but small batches made of premium Amsterdam winners. #underthecounter
Got a bunch of CBD stuff to try from a friend that is a manager at an e-cig shop. Helped some with nausea/upset stomach from my acid reflux and did a bit to relieve head/body aches when they happened. Didn’t seem to help with anxiety or insomnia at all.
Not much better results than a ginger root capsule or aspirin respectively and much more expensive if I was paying full price for it.
I use (vape) cbd for my arthritis and it helps very much. Relief arrives quite fast through vaping but……it’s not the same for everyone. Some people don’t respond to cbd as well as I have. The important things are to do your research on the various ways of ingesting cbd and then if you want to try it, find a reputable retailer(no, you don’t have to go to Amsterdam). It may or may not help you but the only way to find out is by giving it a shot.
CBD is good BUT because the FDA is still pretty uptight about the whole association with cannabis I’m not even sure if there’s
1) regulations in place to ensure consistency of potency across companies and the CBD they use
2) any real in depth peer reviewed studies. I could be wrong here but how would they test it on human subjects thoroughly if it was considered a Schedule 1 drug
I personally use the CBD gummies and isolate pills sold on InfiniteCBD. Not a plug or anything but I found that it has been the most effective one in my sampling journey. Wife also loves it too due to the fact it helps her sleep very well. We dose about 12.5mg and tend to not exceed that.
You might wanna consider inquiring on this CBD shop in KC, they are very knowledgable about the products and can give you good suggestions on what product and dosage you should take depending on your needs and not very pushy on selling too
The cheapest way is to but CBD isolate and mix your own tincture. It’s easy and there are guides out there, I’ll try to find one of the better ones and link it here.
I would not recommend THC, it can cause anxiety, paranoia, the munchies etc. CBD is said to be soothing. However concentrations in commercial products vary widely from claimed values.
Sometimes joint pain (no pun intended) can be cured or reduced using exercises. I have had painful knees for 15 years. Yoga style exercises are working wonders. The idea is that muscle imbalance can cause joints to misalign causing pain. Strengthen the muscles, and the pain goes.
Or grasp a stinging nettle. Seriously. I believe formic acid relieves arthritis.
