I tried the S9… DOA
I still don’t know if it will be a good alternative, but I do like the aesthetic better than the F1 for sure.
I agree. The Sofirn SC31 is an excellent noob light
But we still miss a simple tail-clicky USB rechargeable 18650 light
Eagle Eye on AliExpress has returned. For now only the X6 and X2R
The branding is Mezzol, but yes, the X6 is still a beautiful light, good candidate for an Osram white flat
That totally depends i see a picture of a beautiful EE X6 host :sunglasses:
Beautiful twins in fact.
Wow, 20€ for 2 hosts?
Not bad!
Unfortunately, i already spent my flashlight budget this month…
Is that the official Eagle Eye store?
It used to be before they took it down. I got the link from my purchase history to be sure
So their name is now “mezzol”. I preferred “Eagle Eye”. But as Shakespeare would have said, that which we call the X2R, a tube shaped flashlight w/ micro USB under any other brand name is just as damn useful and convenient.
I seem to have found their new store. And there appeared new interesting flashlight models. But no discounts. the discount will be here [♛ FreemeGB] Eagle Eye Mezzol X8R XHP70.2 XHP35 21700 Rechargeable Flashlight Group Buy >>> from $22.99.

It is a pity that they do not offer XHP70 for X8R-A
Now SC31B is available. more powerful and with longer beam distance.
Update. Mezzol added compact head for X8R-L!!!
There are not many compact flashlights on the market with the XHP70 diode, so the appearance of Mezzol X8R-L aroused my interest. Mezzol is a rebranding of the Eagle Eye already familiar with its budget flashlights. Additionally pleased with the power from 21700, the presence of a neutral CCT and built-in charging. The price is also nice, about $ 35.
Initially, the manufacturer made the Mezzol X8R-L with a slightly wide head, while releasing a fellow Mezzol X8R-A XHP35 with its head wide in body. In the correspondence, I asked if they could make a compact head (it would be more correct to say - a replaceable reflector in the case) for the XHP70 and the manufacturer was easy to lift by releasing an additional compact head. In my opinion, it turned out to be a suitable candidate for EDC, quite compact, in the hand it is very convenient.
Reflectors:
Management is very simple. Short clicks on / off, hold scrolls through the modes from low to high, double click turbo, triple click strobe, electronic lock hold for 3 seconds. The button is tactilely pleasant, it is mandatory to block the flashlight. I have only one complaint about the modes - there is no moonlight. But in general, the set of brightness modes in my opinion is optimal.
The button has an indication. Blue glow - battery more than 50, red - less than 50, blinking red - running to charge. Charging process - red indication, end - turn off the indication.
The charge current of 1.8A can definitely be used by a flashlight, possibly more, it is stated up to 2A. The voltage at the end of the charge is 4.18v.
Temperature behavior. Air 23 ° C, no cooling.
1200Lm - 49 ° C after 10 minutes and 56 ° C after 20 minutes.
There is thermal control, operation in the region of 62 ° C, brightness decreases smoothly.
The stabilization of brightness seems to be absent. Schedule of 20 minutes and the launch of a turbo, do not look at artifacts, this is my fuss, not a flashlight.
How it shines (I apologize for the white auto balance):
X8R-L (NW) and Sofirn SP33 XHP50 6000K
X8R-L + Sofirn SP33 XHP50 + Convoy S2 + SST40 5000K
PWM
IMHO. In its price category, a very interesting option, an alternative to Convoy S11 and Sofirn SP33 XHP50.
That doesn’t look bad at all for an XHP70!
Does eagle eye make a 8x7135 version of the BLF A6?

For Mezzol X8R users. Check tail cap spring. I found it to be poorly polished and highly scratches the battery.
Eagle eye is still active on taobao. I guess they are not interested to ship internationally now.
Do you still have links to their store? I could not find them ((
