[M4D deal] 21700 FW3A presale list

21700 version of the FW3A with trit slots;I want.

This is a thing?

Yes, it is, from Wikipedia;

"In marketing and sales, marketing collateral is sometimes[further explanation needed] considered the collection of media used to support the sales of a product or service. Historically, the term "collateral" specifically referred to brochures or sell sheets developed as sales support tools. These sales aids are intended to make the sales effort easier and more effective.[1] The brand of the company usually presents itself by way of its collateral to enhance its brand through a consistent message and other media, and must use a balance of information, promotional content, and entertainment."

I want to buy one 21700 FW3A

Please add me to list

I’d like to vote for a Cree CPL HI 7A emitter. I love the SST20s but they run too hot. The 7A is even warmer and runs way cooler. Love it in my FW3A.

That said, I’d also be in on this if SST20 2700-3000k was an option.

Agreed! 7A is perfect - tint, color, lumens, throw, everything…

I want to buy one 21700 FW3A

Maybe interested…

I guess I should probably get in on this. I’m in for 1.

I wonder if this light will be using the newer (cheaper) FETs from the new production FW3As? My guess is that if it’s using the same internals, they are probably coming from the same assembly line and thus will (unfortunately) be using the cheaper components.

Is there a material loss of performance or quality? might be worth taking the guts out my first production run FW3A.
Basically the FW21 is what I asked As**ux to make in their recent GAW where they asked for suggestions for their next light so it’s really close to my ideal, just want/need it to be a quad though :stuck_out_tongue:

Usually no. Nothing that you would see. This newer FET might have a bit more internal resistance which might measure a bit lower lumens on Turbo. That might actually be helpful on this light.

The bad thing is we don’t know the specs on this new FET. How good or bad is it? Generally speaking, it’s best to always use name brand components that are proven to be reliable.

Where’s the participant list?

Check post #3 on the first page.

That list doesn’t seem complete, and I don’t see my name on it

I will update the list tonight

I don’t see your post were you asked to be added. Post #113 you said you filled out the email form. This means you will NOT see your name on any public list.
