Speaking of more changes. I got a raw AL model and it appears to have a Carclo copy + AR glass. The optic window looks more clear but it doesn’t look as well focused either due to the size of the LED opening or due to the height above the dome. Need to open it up and do more investigating.
When I take spectral measure of this new one the lux is worse (less) but the Duv is better than even my UCL + real 10511. I don’t trust my sphere to accurately tell me which has higher output but I will say it’s close enough that I think the difference is more beam angle/TIR shape related than just poor efficiency of the optic. CCT and CRI are also close enough that it should be all the same bin.
Titanium brushed, Ti Short Heated with ceramic blue baked on interior, Polished aluminum short, and the far one was the darkest Blue/Gray (stock) ano out of 9 stock FW3A’s that past thru my hands…
The short Ti started out as this color, then I cut it down, sanded and lightly polished and it turned out like this… smokey… I guess…

Thanks contacter! Just caught up and looks like they are addressing battery tube issue. Clip is not as much of an issue for me as is all of those trit slots. It seems to be a limited release so I will pass. Thanks again!
